Larissa lam - Executive Director and Founder
Larissa has made an impact all over the world as a speaker, recording artist, worship leader, music composer and TV host.
As a performer and speaker, Larissa has been featured at festivals and conferences such as GMA in the Rockies and Spirit West Coast. Larissa can be seen hosting the weekly talk show, "Top 3,"
for Christian youth TV network, JCTV, where she has interviewed numerous guests such as Mr. T, Josh McDowell, Jars of Clay and Crystal Lewis.
Larissa was born and raised in Diamond Bar, CA. She is the recovering overachieving only child of parents who immigrated to the US from China. She graduated from UCLA
in 1997 with a degree in business economics. Larissa is the
former Chief Financial Officer of Christian record label, NSOUL Records
and has also worked for numerous music companies and studios such as
Columbia Records and Polygram. She has composed
music for TV and film projects such as the Oprah Winfrey Show and the E! Channel.
As
a performer, Larissa saw success as a member of "Nitro Praise" and now
as a solo artist, she has recorded three albums of original songs.
Over
the years, Larissa has been involved with various ministries. She
served on the leadership team and led worship at "Media Fellowship
International", a Bible study for Christians in arts and media held at
CBS Studios in Hollywood, California. Larissa appears as one of the
main storytellers in the evangelistic film, "The Hope," produced by
Mars Hill Productions. Larissa also serves as a World
Vision" artist associate educating others about their child sponsorship
program.
In 2008, after many years of being single, she married Baldwin Chiu (aka Sacramento rapper, Only Won) and now resides in Pasadena, CA. She has been a member of Chinese Baptist Church of Orange County in Anaheim, CA, where she was the drama director and led and developed women's small groups. She currently attends Mosaic Church in Pasadena,CA.
